Sky Retail Sales BoardIn over 230 of some of the best shopping centres across the UK, Sky retail stores offer our entire range of entertainment products to new and existing customers.

With around 44 million of these customers passing by our stores every week, there’s huge sales potential out there – with our sales professionals making a big impact and sharing in our future success as the UK’s largest shopping centre venue sales operator.

Sky Retail Stores is already a major and growing part of Sky’s direct sales strategy; we have ambitious plans in place that’ll see us grow significantly in the year ahead. In fact, by the end of 2009 we’ll have a presence in around 350 locations – just at the right time to take advantage of the imminent digital switchover.

Media Sales

variousSky Media is the advertising sales division of Sky. While Sky Digital Media is the sales arm of our Online Business Unit.

There’s enormous potential to further enhance our advertising revenue. And it’s the media teams’ job to ensure it’s maximised to the full across all our channels, including Sky Sports, Sky One, Sky Movies, Sky News and our Discovery networks.

 But it’s about so much more than just advert spots. We’ve a range of innovative and powerful media properties, along with the best in new technology – across sales, sponsorship, online, text, interactive and traffic.

Business Sales

people watching football in a pubSky is a business we’ve built by not only being first with ground-breaking content and amazing new technology, but first for our customers too. That means we always listen to what they want. And meet their needs in the most innovative ways possible.

So, ten years ago now, when pub landlords discovered that showing live football was a valuable way of attracting customers, we created the commercial arm of our organisation, Sky Business.

Today, there are millions of people watching Sky Sports’ live matches in their local every week.

Sky Business has commercial customers right across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. But it’s not all about pubs. Sky Business covers a wide range of business sectors including, bookmakers, offices, hotels, gyms, shops and golf clubs.

The Division employs over 150 people at sites in Osterley in West London and Livingston in Scotland. From here, it manages sales, operations, marketing and customer service for all business premises and public places.

We also produce a dedicated Business to Business channel, The Pub Channel, and award-winning magazine, Preview, for our licensed trade customers.
