Having previously worked in the voluntary sector, I was looking to make a change and move to a big company with a big reputation. Sky certainly fitted both those requirements, and I’m now working as part of a really great team.
The training you get as an Installation Engineer is very informative, and quite informal. The induction training was particularly useful – giving you an insight into what the job involves and the part you have to play in the bigger picture.

Everyone here is encouraged to live the value of ‘believe in better’. For me, that means gaining a clear understanding of what the customer wants, and then trying my hardest to meet their expectations. I’m also constantly looking to improve as I learn even more about the role.
As for what I’d change about the job? Well, I can honestly say nothing at all comes to mind. I really do feel valued as part of a friendly team. And I’m enjoying making lots of new friends through work.
