I joined Sky in August 1990, in what I thought would be a stopgap temporary job. I was on a commission-only basis at the time and, to be honest, it wasn’t going too well. Then, in December 1990, I was offered a permanent role in the ASA department. I accepted willingly as I felt it was going to be something very new and innovative. Yet I didn’t know just how big Sky would go on to become.
Now I’m in the Broadband Resolutions Team, contacting customers who are experiencing problems with their broadband and doing everything I can to get them resolved. I try to deliver the best possible customer experience and demonstrate that every customer is an individual and valued by Sky.
