What area of Sky do you work in and what do you do on a daily basis? I work within the Home Service department supporting our fantastic Engineer’s provide a world class service for our customers.

How did you get into your role? I joined as an Engineer and progressed into a Team Coach position and then onto being a Team Manager.

How have you made a difference in your role / what’s been your proudest moment working here? I feel I’ve been able to make a difference in my role. My proudest moment was winning the first ever team SHINE award within Home Service for our team’s support of local charities, I was so proud of my team.

What surprised you most about your role? What surprised me most about the role was the freedom to be myself and be creative. We all have the opportunity to come up with new ideas or solutions for delivering world class service for our customers.

Describe your work/life balance: Brilliant, some days can be challenging but I’m able to manage my work/life balance well.

Have you had the opportunity to progress? What advice would you give to others trying to develop their career? Yes, I joined as an Engineer and I’m now a Team Manager. My advice would be to be yourself, committed and hardworking. I’d also say to stay true to your values and be honest when challenged.
